The Temple

We had the most amazing experience at the temple! I was so blessed to be able to have my Sweetheart there along with our parents and grandparents. It was such a big step in my life and I am so excited for what the future holds. Garments are taking some getting use to but I know I will come to love them soon!!

Bridal Showers!

I have attended many upon many bridal showers, they are always wonderful to say the least. But when it is your own shower there is an excitement and happiness that comes along. How fun is it really to open up a set of pots or cookie sheets? Not really fun at all, but when it is your very FIRST set of cooking materials and all the thoughts of future meals with your soon to be hubby come to mind, there is nothing but smiles! I received very generous gifts from loving people. It was a wonderful experience, one that will come only once in a lifetime and there is no one I would rather share it with than My Mikey. We are just as giddy as can be with our knife's, picture frames, and candlesticks! I know that our love will only deepen with time, I also pray that my cooking with get ALOT better with time as well, ok lets be honest, I hope I start cooking with time ha ha jk!

A special thanks to my wonderful Aunts and Grandmother, and also my dear friends Hayden and McKenzie for throwing me beautiful showers. I am truly honored and grateful!

Fiesta Days!

Oh the Fiesta Days in Spanish Fork have a special place in my heart!! I love being around family, eating in the park, and watching fire works!! This year was extra special because I was able to spend it with Mike!! I can't wait for the many more 24th of July's to come!!

Tonight was wonderful!! We were able to attend the Rodeo in Spanish Fork!! It was so much fun, for so long I was selling stuff in the stands for cheer - it was so nice to sit back and enjoy the show!! We put on our wonderful cowboy boots and had a heck of a time!

Now it feels like HOME!!

Well today has been a very eventful day! It was full of hardwork and it required getting dirty! I suprised Mikey by planting lots of flowers and making the yard look presentable for his sweet sister Aly!! Her family is coming to visit tomorrow and we are just thrilled! The yard turned out perfect and he loved every bit of it. It was well worth the sweat and labor!! I hope Mama Susan is proud of my gardening skills! (: I want to thank my sweet Grandmother and Mother, they helped pick and plant the flowers. Also I would like to thank my Daddy and brother in law Danny - they brought in mounds of dirt so that my little flowers would survive! It was a beautiful day and I am so grateful for everyones help, love, and support!

We had a wonderful Sunday dinner to celebrate with my parents, sisters, and grandparents!

I had a great lunch with some close friends!

And of course Mikey took me out on my real Birthday! We reenacted our first date, I absolutely loved it!

It was my Birthday this past weekend! I am now 20, I believe Mikey likes the sound of that better! (: I had a wonderful Birthday, and I felt very very loved!! My favorite present came from my Sweetheart of course - he gave me a new set of scriptures with "Mrs. Shiann Hancock" engraved along with a cute scripture case. It was a good feeling to read my new name on them! I am so grateful for the past year and where it has led me, I look forward to this next year as well - I believe it will be one of the best!! Thank you to everyone for their caring words on my Birthday!! XOXO

Mikey and I have not stopped for the past two weeks! After North Carolina, we went to LAKE POWELL!! It was a blast! We slept under the stars, swam for hours and of course kicked everyones trash in cards! Mikey and I are a FORCE to be reckoned with! It was a lot of fun but it is nice to be home, safe and sound! My niece Gabby formed a crush on my future hubby! Not only did he steal my heart but he also stole hers!! She even put the moves on him by holding his hand!! I think I can share since she is only 5 years old!! I love her so much along with my sweetheart!

Mikey and I are now officially engaged!! He proposed on Saturday June 2oth! We will be getting married on September 5th in the Salt Lake Temple! I have never had such happiness or joy in my life. Mike has been the greatest blessing given to me and I cannot wait to marry my best friend - the one I live for, laugh with, and love!

I can not tell you how much I love my friends!! Yesterday Kenny, Nessa and I (Chels ditched!!) went to Red Robin!! It was nothing less then a party! We were able to see Nessa's BEAUTIFUL ring and we laughed until it hurt!! Then Kenny and I hit up the Stauffer home to say hello to Chels!! It was a very needed reuniting!! I hope there are MANY more in the future! The AKJ's will still live on in my heart!

Mikey is going back to North Carolina for a while, so we spent our last night together. We went on a fun date and also managed to go to a friends wedding reception. After a horrific school semester my parents knew that I needed a BREAK for sure!! We packed up and headed down south to St George. From massages, to shopping, and beating the parents at bowling - there was never a dull moment!

Mikey and I went to see "The Haunting In Conneticut!" I personally loved it, but I don't know if I loved the movie or if I loved seeing Mike have a panic attack from the intense scary scenes!! All dressed up for a fancy dinner by the waters edge, with the view of the Seattle Skyline! It was absolutely GORGEOUS!! It was the funnest thing in the entire world!!

I finally got to experience Pike's Place Market, it does exsist, its not just in the movies!! Plus those fishies are really heavy!

The famous gum wall, only one word could describe this: DISGUSTING! But I contributed my share!

This is Chase's parent's we dropped them off early early in the morning so that they could catch a ferry to Canada! Let me remind you, it was early!

Look how beautiful it was down at the dock's the sunset made an amazing view sparkle!

Back in February (I know I need to update this thing more often!) I went to Seattle with a friend of mine to doggie sit for his parents while they spent a romantic weekend in Canada! From the second the plane hit the ground we were moving non-stop! I fell in love with Seattle and I hope to go back soon! It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and I had the time of my life!

One of my good friends own's his very own plane! So being the nice guy that he is, he took me for a flight on the town! We flew all the way to Windover to have lunch! What an adventure! So this weekend a group of us decided to head up to salt lake to find some fun! We wanted to experience a vegan restaurant! It was super fun, you decide how much you want to pay for your meal, if you cant pay you can do the dishes for an hour! How awesome is that! After our meal, we went to a Chocolate Factory that was ran by midgets! It was great, they were so friendly and I filled up on the good stuff - chocolate covered cinnamon bears! The night rolled on and the laughter never stopped!

Yes I did eat this, all I have to say is thank goodness for the chocolate factory!

My buddy Parley Vernon asked me out on a date. Of course I knew it would be a good time, and I was right. We went four wheeling and then we went back to a HUGE cabin for games and a movie! The cabin was owned by our friend's dad who started Stephens Hot Chocolate company! Parley and I thought it would be fun to make brownies to go along with our delicious Hot Coco! But let's just say that that was a bad idea, a very bad idea!

Well one weekend night a week, Hayden and I have a date night - just us, just girls, just fun! WE went up to Ogden to hit up two scary haunted houses! Our first stop was to get some grub - sounds easy right? Not exactly! Ogden is pretty much GHETTO! But we managed to find a quaint little restaurant called The Stage Coach, what an adventure that was!

I love this girl more than anything!

We made a new friend, he became my new boyfriend - his name is Bucky! I know I am standing funny, I had to pee really bad!

The food was actually AMAZING! Everyone in the joint was regulars so it was neat to see them all interact like they were family!
